Upon graduating with a degree in Pastry Arts from New York’s Institute of Culinary Education, Mussarrat discovered her true passion – cake decorating. She has studied under master cake decorators Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes, and Lauri Ditunno of Cake Alchemy. Musarrat also attended an intensive workshop at Valrhona Brooklyn in 2016 under renowned Pasty Chef Nathaniel Reid, focusing on entremets, petit gateaux and tarts. Musarrat has been creating beautiful and delicious cakes for the past 12 years.

Pretty Sweet in Palladio has been open since January of 2018. Under Musarrat’s guidance and expertise, we have secured an impressive reputation for serving some of the best custom cakes and desserts in the area, as well as great coffee served by Temple.
